Obstetrical Forceps are a surgical instrument that resembles a pair of tongs and  can be used in surgery for grabbing, maneuvering, or removing various things within or from the body. They can be used to assist the delivery of a baby as an alternative to the Vento use (vacuum extraction) method.

Vaginal speculum is a gynecological instrument which is used to view a woman’s cervix properly. This instrument is one, which can be reused. Uterine Dilator is a double-ended Obstetrical/Gynecological instrument used for progressive dilation of the uterus. It is most frequently used during intrauterine procedures such as D & C. The size of these dilators is determined by the circumference of the tip and measured in French units, with one French unit equaling 1/3mm. dilators are available in several sizes.

Uterine sounds are gynecological instruments, which are used to examine the vaginal cavity and to measure how deep the uterus actually is. Uterine sounds are inserted into the woman’s uterus from the cervix so that the length of the uterus can be determine and to find out what direction the uterus and the cervical canal take so that it can be determined the amount of dilation which has already taken place and to even further the dilation to the amount which is required.

Uterine Depressor is an instrument, which is used to displace the woman’s uterus from its position. This may be done so with the help of facilitating the tissue, which may be surrounding the uterus. It can also be done by compressing the tissue or by excision of the tissue surrounding the uterus.

Endometrial Biopsy Curette is an OB/GYN instrument typically used for obtaining tissue samples from the endometrium for biopsy. It is a hollow curette with a thin stylet, and a small, sharp opening near the slightly curved tip. The curette, with the stylet inside, is inserted and moved in such a motion so as to collect tissue from the endometrial cavity. The tissue is then removed from the curette by pulling the stylet out and placing the tissue in a separate container until biopsy.

Uterine Curette is an OB/GYN instrument used for removing tissue from the lining of the uterus. It may be used to scrape and remove growths or tissue to be biopsied. It may also be used as part of a D&C procedure.
